Eid Outfit Ideas in Pakistan: What to Wear on Each Day of Eid (Women and Men)

Eid in Pakistan is not one outfit — it is three days of prayers, family visits, dawats and photographs. Planning each day separately saves money and avoids the classic mistake of wearing your heaviest suit to a hot Eid-ul-Fitr namaz.

Chaand raat: easy and comfortable

Chaand raat is for mehndi, bangles and late shopping. Choose a stitched lawn or cotton kurti with straight trousers or cigarette pants, flat khussa and minimal jewellery. You will be on your feet and in crowds, so breathable fabric matters more than embroidery. Browse stitched kurtas for ready-to-wear options.

Eid morning: your best fresh look

This is the outfit people photograph. For women, a three-piece embroidered lawn (shirt, dupatta, trouser) works in summer Eids; in winter, khaddar or karandi with a printed dupatta. Light colours — mint, powder pink, ivory, sky blue — photograph well in morning light.

For men, a crisp white or pastel shalwar kameez with a matching or contrasting waistcoat is the classic choice. Starch the collar, and keep the waistcoat one shade darker than the kameez. See men's shalwar kameez and waistcoats.

Day two: dawats and family lunches

Dawats are indoors and longer, so you can go a little more formal: chiffon or organza dupattas, jewel tones (emerald, ruby, navy) and light Kundan or Polki earrings. Men can switch to a kurta pajama in a richer colour.

Day three: relaxed and repeatable

By the third day most people re-wear and re-style. Pair your Eid-morning shirt with a different dupatta and trousers, or wear a simple printed suit with statement jhumkas from jewellery.

Budget plan that works

  • Buy one hero outfit (Eid morning) and two simpler ones.
  • Unstitched lawn is cheaper than stitched; allow 10–14 days for tailoring before Eid, as tailors stop taking orders in the last week.
  • Order online early: courier networks are slowest in the final three days before Eid. With Cash on Delivery you pay only when the parcel arrives.

Quick checklist

  • Check the fabric in the product details (lawn, cotton, khaddar, chiffon) — it decides comfort more than the design.
  • Confirm the size chart; stitched sizes vary by boutique. Our size guide explains how to measure.
  • Keep returns in mind: Stylica allows size exchange or refund within 7 days of delivery for unused items.
