Talking to a Boutique About Your Order: Delays, Address Changes and Problems
You can message the boutique from your Stylica account — to ask about a delay, fix your address before it ships, or report a problem. Here is how, and why it stays on Stylica.
By Ali Hamza ·
Every Stylica order comes with a private chat between you and the boutique. Use it for anything about that order — and keep it there.
Messaging the boutique
Open Account → Messages and choose Message the store, then pick the order. Good reasons to message:
- "When will my order ship?"
- "Can you confirm the colour of the dupatta?"
- "I will not be home on Friday — please ask the courier to call first."
Boutiques can message you too, for example to tell you about a stitching delay or to confirm your address. You get a notification for every reply. The chat stays open until 14 days after delivery.
Changing your delivery address
Typed the wrong street or moving house? Choose Change delivery address in Account → Messages, enter the new address and a short reason. The boutique accepts or declines. This works while the order is Pending or Confirmed and before the parcel is handed to the courier, as long as the delivery fee stays the same. A change to a city with a different delivery fee is not possible — cancel and order again instead.
Reporting a problem
If something goes wrong, use Report a problem instead of a normal message: wrong item, damaged, not delivered, fake item, rude behaviour, or a request to pay outside Stylica. Serious reports go straight to the Stylica team. Others go to the boutique first and reach our team if the boutique does not reply within 2 days. If you want to send the item back, follow the return steps.
Why phone numbers and links are hidden
For your protection, phone numbers, emails, links and "pay me directly" requests are hidden in messages. Moving a buyer to WhatsApp or a bank transfer is how most online-shopping scams start, and Stylica cannot protect a payment it never sees. If a seller insists, report it — read how to avoid payment scams.
